Ajai Thomas
Managing Director and Head of Business Development, brings 25 years of finance experience to Trevally, including ten years dedicated to structured products.
In 2014, Ajai helped launch Hollis Park Partners, a structured products focused alternative asset manager, and served as Head of Investor Relations and Business Development there for 10 years. Before that, he was Vice President of Sales at Deutsche Bank Alternative Fund Services, where he provided operational outsourcing, financing, and distribution solutions to hedge funds, funds of funds and family offices. Prior to Deutsche, Ajai was at Fortis Prime Fund Solutions, where he provided liquidity and currency hedging solutions, fund administration and custody services to funds of hedge funds. Before that, Ajai organized a $4-billion retail separately managed accounts distribution platform at Salomon Brothers Asset Management and launched the Pricing and Corporate Actions Group at Lord Abbett.
Ajai began his career at Merrill Lynch as a Pricing Specialist for the Securities Pricing Service group, where he evaluated and provided valuation support for U.S. government securities, high yield bonds, municipal bonds, and mortgage-backed securities. He earned a B.S. in Finance from St. John's University and holds a Credit Analysis Diploma and Certificate in Financial Risk Management from New York University.
