A seasoned engineer, enterprise data architect, and problem solver, Nikhil brings over 20 years of experience across financial services, hedge funds, and real estate portfolio companies. He possesses deep expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and modeling, with a strong track record of building firm-wide enterprise data lakes and warehouses spanning various asset classes. Nikhil has led and executed numerous initiatives to deliver “golden source” data, enabling the development of actionable insights through machine learning and AI models.

Most recently, Nikhil served as Principal Data Architect at Link Logistics, a Blackstone company, where he led the development and standardization of an enterprise-wide data model. His work supported a diverse range of real estate assets and enabled the organization to unify data across the portfolio.

Prior to that, at Tilden Park Capital, a hedge fund, he spearheaded the modernization of the market data ingestion pipeline. He migrated the infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, enabling scalable pricing capabilities for asset classes such as CMBS, ABS, and other structured products—directly empowering quantitative teams.

Earlier, at Bank of America, Nikhil was instrumental in implementing a Global Market Data Platform across multiple lines of business. This platform provided a unified, real-time, and distributed view of trade, reference, market, and position data across the Fixed Income and Equities divisions, significantly improving data accessibility and consistency for risk and analytics platforms.

During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Market Risk & P&L technology team in Mumbai for the Equities business in Asia Pacific. This role offered him valuable global exposure and the opportunity to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.

At Wells Fargo, having joined through the Wachovia acquisition during the financial crisis, he witnessed firsthand the importance of resilient, scalable, and adaptable systems. He contributed to the successful integration of Wells Fargo’s trading portfolios into the Wachovia ecosystem, a critical transformation during a turbulent period.

Nikhil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Mumbai University in India. After gaining initial experience in the field, he moved to the United States in the early 2000s to further his career in data and technology.
